Susan Chaleff

Susan Chaleff is a member of both EGA and ANG. She has designed and taught needlepoint since 1998. She's taught "Log Cabin" and "Heart of the Cabin" at our chapter and "Star Light, Star Bright" at the 2009 Metropolitan Region Seminar. Susan taught "Log Cabin" as an ANG Cyberworkshop with 235 stitchers registered and "Log Cabin II" was an ANG Correspondence Course for six years.

Susan will be teaching "Pick a Pomegranate" as a pilot for the 2011 Metropolitan Seminar. "Pick a Pomegranate" is a 10" x 10" bargello piece 18-count canvas. It 3 Bargello patterns and 2 color ways: camel/brown/orchard and blue/grays/ mauve. The brown piece uses silks and the blue piece uses DMC floss.

Proficiency: Intermediate

Kit contents:
 Instructions
16" x 16" 18-count mono canvas
 Threads & beads for 1 colorway

Students should bring:
2 pair 16" stretcher bars
Frame weight or stand
Magnifier, if needed
Usual stitching supplies
