Program: Penny Rug Designed for Monmouth Chapter
Debbie is a nationally known teacher who taught one of her penny rugs at the 2009 Metropolitan Region Seminar. This teapot size penny rug (10inch diameter), designed especially for our chapter, will offer the techniques of dimensional wool design and the history of the penny rug in one fun class. You'll learn to use freezer paper templates, the "veil" for accurate placement and needle slanting skills to make your work pop off the background.
